Mocktails featuring Wendi Fox

Inspirational Comedian Wendi Fox has been touring the college circuit for 20 years with her one-woman show titled The Alcohol Insanity Tour. As a former high-risk drinker, Wendi had been searching for a way to reinvent her lifestyle and find the buzz without the booze. Mocktails is a compilation of everything Wendi has practiced and learned in her pursuit of finding that buzz.

While goofing around with a little boy sitting next to her at the airport one day, Wendi began to realize that his unique and eccentric outlook on life was similar to that of many of her drunken friends except for the fact that this little boy had more common sense than her drunken friends. She laughed thinking, ...Hes a little drunk monkey minus the drunkI wanna be a little drunk monkey too! He was uninhibited, authentic, thoughtful, funny, wise and well balanced, everything Wendi was striving to be, including sober.

Mocktails is inspired by the little drunk monkeys. Wendi believes that inside of every one of us there is voice that speaks the truth and however inconvenient it may bethat voiceis usually a kindergartener. She will take you on a unique journey back through time to when you were five years old, and unleash the kindergartener inside all of us. Reminding everyone just how much fun life was before we needed alcohol, drugs or even permission to act stupid. Wendi helps students learn the art of being a child (the most effective tool in her journey back to health and wellness). She states that in fact, It wasnt the buzz I was looking for, but the courage and the permission to be who I really was. In my search for social acceptance I had lost parts of myself. Through practicing the art of being a child I know who I am once again.
