The band started in a dark period for Mocktout the person, who needed to chalk up something positive against the onslaught.
Mocktout the person composes for Mocktout the band. Sometimes a loose framework, a point of departure for a ride nobody can predict. Sometimes a tight crystallized song, a sequence of colors.
We are intoxicated with Hendrix, Marley, Coltrane, Monk, Bartók, samba ... and keep an ear out for all you geniuses walking around who we're too jealous to mention.
