Modern Clockwork is a hip hop/pop band composed of and by Harrison Forbes and features a collective group of musicians. This is what made the group such a natural fit, everything is more or less Harrison Forbes but the group dynamic just seemed perfect. They have a unique sound all their own giving you a perfect chemistry of sounds you want to hear with messages you need to know. Their music is catchy and infectious but most importantly honest and real. Connecting to their audience in each line, Modern Clockworks music is deeply personal, but at the same time, has the diversity to reach out to all types of listeners. Harrison Forbes has always felt that his articulate nature and musical talents are a force larger than the music itself. He often opens up his studio to underprivileged teens to give them an outlet to creatively express themselves. “Music is ultimately always about bringing people together, in this case its about bringing them together for a greater good.” Said Harrison about Modern Clockwork. With that belief, a positive message and a determination for positive change, Modern Clockwork was born.
Modern Clockwork is based upon the idea that time doesn't change anything, only people do. Harrison has put life before lifestyle by deciding that all of his music sale profits will go to charity. At this point in time all profits are allocated equally between St. Judes children’s hospital (www.stjude.org), The Ronald McDonald house charities (http://rmhc.org/) and Feed The Children US (www.feedthechildren.org/tab_us). Their will soon be a program where after you purchase their music you can decide which charity you’d like that money to be allocated to. With that being said, if you download their music illegally, please have the decency to donate to one of these great charities.

This generation is the generation of instant gratification, so why not give everyone an opportunity to see the change we all want to make as we make the change we all want to see. We want to increase the overall quality of life and we’re starting with the children. We want to help the sick children and guide the well ones. We are still in the youth of our dreams and find it most important to follow the dreams of our youth. Lets catch those dreams; you can make a difference without even trying. Put your hands on the clock, the time is now.
