Feeling a bit camera shy

Hailing from the suburbs of St. Louis, Modern Red is expanding beyond their borders and taking their sound out to where they feel it belongs most: the ears of the fans. Three members, all with different musical influences including The Beatles, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Incubus and Muse, the band tries to focus their attention on getting to the next step.

"A Wonderful, Beautiful Angle" is the debut cd from the trio. The tiltle comes from their song, "Naked Eyes," a story about a man who finds a videotape of his girlfriend in a compromising position if you will. But not all of their lyrics pertain to these types of situations. Modern Red has songs of love, life, and how tragedies just might be the best thing to happen to us. The album was recored at Ardent Studios in Memphis and produced by Devon Allman and Pete Matthews (worked with evanescence).

The next leg of the journey is playing out to the masses, creating an already extensive fanbase, and pressing on in hopes to keep playing the sounds they worked hard to create.
