Bio

FlyGuy Rufio Bio
What’s that roll call I am hearing in the back ground? “Bang-A-Rang” Oh snap that’s FlyGuyRufio. Born, Nigel Ameen Thomas Jr. in Hempstead, New York and raised in Tampa Bay at the age of six with his four younger siblings, by their mother and father for a better life. It was never any secret that music was imbedded in his life considering his grandfather Paul Martin an established Singer/song writer from the 60’s. Also being brought up around true Hip Hop Culture through his father (Jahni) and uncles the (Albino Twins) from Queens Music has always been based around who he was destined to be. At the early age of 9 everyone could see the talents in Nigel were truly blessed by God through natural ability to dance, sing, rap, even video and play writing. He attended Orange Grove Middle Magnet School for performing arts.
FlyGuy Rufio’s name originates from one of his favorite movies growing up, “HOOK” starring Robin Williams. FlyGuy’s favorite character, Rufio, was the courageous leader of the Lost Boys. He admired his role as the leader as well as the strong mindedness and savvy. And as for the FlyGuy piece of his name, he is known for his “Fly” style, hence being called a Fly Guy.

J. Steed Bio
Robert Harvey also addressed musically as J.Steed was born in Jacksonville FL. Raised in a house full of older cousins there was never a dull moment in those times. The infatuation with rythmatic sounds and tones were established early in childhood as music icons such as Otis Redding,Al Green, and the Jackson 5 always played in the background. At the age of 12 Robert's family moved to Tampa Florida to seek a better opportunity and new way of life. Tampa has been very kind and a true place to call home.

The hip hop world indirectly would be In Roberts future this was made evident as Robert became a early fan favorite in lunch period and after school freestyle battles in both junior and senior high school. Still Robert thought nothing of it "it was all just for fun to me, I was into doing my sports thing, music never really occurred to me, people just, kept saying I was good, I was just like ok" Robert says with a smile. Little did he know in 2011 he would link up with his cousin and then recording artist FlyGuy Rufio to be accepted into the M.O.E family. J.Steed was born and the Music Over Everything movement has taken true form. The constant questions of where does the J.Steed name derive or originate from? "A Steed is a spirited Workhorse and the J is for Justified and I feel as though it directly correlates to my hustle my song and my story everything I have done thus far has been lead by the man upstairs and my drive and the path he sets keeps me fenced in and I know I'm protected". J.Steed replies as he reflects on his life and hard times he had to endure. Join Flyguy and J.Steed and the rest of M.O.E as they explode onto the scene and take this industry by storm.
