Biography

Vova Mogeladze, internationally acclaimed blues-rock guitar player, lead vocalist and a leader of the “Blues Mobile Band” was born in Tbilisi, capital of Republic of Georgia, where he grew up and and evolved into a Blues Guitar Hero phenomenon. He earned his national recognition and Celebrity status as top musician and vocalist with his unique, extraordinary musical skills and magnetic stage presence, performing soul-driven blues before thousands of admiring followers. His name got him listed in “Who’s Who” in Georgia.

He started his music career in 1968, when he joined “Contrast”, rock band established by his classmates. In 1986 Vova formed his own group “Blues Mobile Band” which had great success in Georgia. The next thing, naturally, was Vova’s trip to Europe where he set his eyes on a bigger game - playing with most accomplished and known blues players. From 1989 to 2005 Vova and his band performed at many International Blues Festivals in Europe. During the years in Europe he and his band performed with internationally known soul-blues-rock musicians, bands and singers like: Alvin Lee, Luther Allison, Kenny Neal, John Mayall, Jimmy Smith, James Brown, Robert Cray, Walter Trout, Canned Heat, Nazareth, Imagination and Animals.
