Mogus

Mogus is not your typical jam band. In a genre where noodling is the norm and lyrics just seem to just get in the way, Mogus combines elements of classic rock, hard rock, and improvisation to create a unique sound that has been described as "a gritty form of jam rock". They take as much pride in their songwriting and solid guitar licks as they do in their jamming and are constantly striving to create the perfect balance between the song and the jam.
Lead vocalist and guitarist Harris Culley said this about Mogus style: We grew up loving the classic rock bands, but at the same time we were blown away by the stuff going on in the jam scene. We love the fact that every show is a new experience and that the improvisation is so unique. We try to combine that classic rock sound with those distinctive qualities of the jam scene to create something new and exciting. With an ever improving band chemistry and fan base, the sky is the limit for this five piece out of Athens Georga.
