Having always been an avid music enthusiast, and regretting the fact that my parents neglected to teach me music despite of early signs of musical talent, it wasn't until I was 17 when I finally took things into my own hands and started studying music. I was already experimenting with sequencers and synthesizers at 14, but it seemed clear that I was going nowhere unless I studied music and learned to play an instrument at some level of proficiency. I quickly picked it up and began producing increasingly professional compositions to this day.
I grew up listening to Yanni, Enigma, and Jean Michel Jarre, which had a tremendous impact on my style, and made me have an affinity to two seamingly disparate genres: Electronic music, both classical Jarre-esque and modern dance Electronica; and New Age music, and anything in between, like ethnic fusion, contemporary instrumental music, and ambient.
I was never very prolific because I never had enough time, I was studying engineering and had to assign considerable time for it to get through college. And now I'm even less prolific because my work leaves me with so little spare time. But if I get a good deal I'll be more than willing to become a full-time professional musician.
