Moist

David Elfström Lilja, the man behind the alias Moist, was born 1971 in Söderhamn Sweden and started playing drums at the age of 5. Music has always been present in the family since his older brothers played drums and Davids great-grandfather was Jon-Erik Hall, a well renowned musician in Sweden.

After elementary school he went to music school in Härnösand where he played drums, played and programmed keyboards and took vocal lessons. During the years David has been a member of several different bands, from playing drums in hard rock bands to keyboards in various Kraftwerk inspired settings and synthpop bands.

Musically, David has worked with music for tv-commercials, movies and short films and has also made remixes for artists such as Sophie Rimheden, Blacknuss, Titiyo, Mauro Scocco, Otur, The Knife and many others.

In 2008, as a songwriter and producer, David started to release his own music under the alias Moist. Since he's put his singing aside the vocal tracks will be collaborations with different vocal artists such as Maria Marcus, Sophie Rimheden, Lisa's Antenna, Ìse and many others.
