"Hot for Mojada"

“Their band name is Spanish for “wet female” and their audience is made up of many hot young girls.. There’s definitely something appealing about being a member of Mojada”.
- Source Magazine

“Mojada stands out from the Pack with its late 70’s funk interpretations”. - MX Magazine

“It was easy to see why this band generates such a big buz.. Their songs have the ability to break right into the mainstream. The band remained extremely tight throughout and certainly made a fan out of me from this performance”. - Faster Louder

"Single Review"

“We at the brag love those Mojada boys. It helps that they make some shit hot music that makes us grin from ear to ear. Mojada are winning friends left and right with their high energy show and kick ass single”. - Brag Magazine

"It’s become apparent that if you’ve seen Mojada at one of their shows recently that sexy, hip, and wild young people can’t get enough of them, and neither can I."

Tim Holland - Music Network / ABC Records
- The Music Network Magazine

"EP Review"

“Mojada produces straight up catchy groove-rock, which wouldn’t be out of place with your Beautiful Girls, Pete Murray or the like, but it is their stronger sense of melody that sets them apart from those other acts”

Mark Neilson - Drum Media

"This could be the best album to come out of this studio!... simply amazing..."

Sylvia Massy - Grammy award nominated, Multi Platinum producer

"Next Big Things"

With 'Put My Love On You' and 'If I Could' (an odds-on favourite for harmony drenched hit of the summer) aimed at FM radio's sweet spot and a pile of activity on both sides of the Pacific gearing up for the album release, these self managed musketeers are poised to get people up and dancing on a grand scale. - Mens Style Magazine

"The Hit List"

This bunch of Bondi hotties sound a bit like Ben Harper mixed with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Chilled tunes for lazy Sunday afternoons - niiice. Effortlessly cool dudes. - Cosmopolitan Magazine

MOJADA are the 2010 MusicOz Australian Independent Rock Artists of the year.

After being nominated as Top 5 finalists in both the ‘Rock’ and ‘Dance’ categories MOJADA joined this years winners list which included Art vs Science, The Jezabels and Dallas Fresca.

The win has topped an impressive start to 2010 after their recent single release ‘Find A Way’ became the #6 most added track to radio in Australia & spent 5 weeks on the AIR Top 20 Radio charts.

MOJADA's Debut Studio Record which is due for release later this year, has been 3 years in the making and seen the band travel twice to the US to work with Grammy winning Platinum selling producers including Sylvia Massy (RHCP, TOOL, COG) to develop their new sound of Electro Pop / Rock.

After their 2009 EP Release 'Exactly' landed the band sync deals for 2 of the tracks, a third track from the US mixed EP release went on the win the 2009 New Artists to Radio Competition which includes an impressive previous winners list including: Delta Goodrem, Thirsty Merc, Sarah Blasko, Cassie Davis & Faker.

MOJADA are part of an increasing number of Australian Independent artists forging their own way ahead in the music industry and heading overseas to the US and UK without the backing of a Major record label. The band took an undeniable live energy with them to L.A, which gave them a very warm welcome to new crowds in the USA and saw them pack out venues such as the Viper room in Hollywood.

As hard as the band work running their label, their ultimate passion will always be playing their music to new ears and getting rooms full of people in any country having a good time & enjoying live music.
