MOJO FURY

Mojo Fury are the newest and brightest contenders in the Northern Irish
music scene. Comprised of singer/drummer Mike Mormecha (21), bassist Ciaran
Mc Greevy (20) and Guitarist James Lyttle (20), they provide a fine blend of
instant straight ahead driving rock.

Formed in February '04 whilst studying Music Technology, the chemistry
between the trio was instant and so Mojo Fury was born. Although the band
still have a relatively short existence, they have fast become one of
Northern Irelands most hard working bands, captivating crowds and winning
over fans. Since forming, the band have recorded 2 CD’s, which have been
aired on Radio 1 as well as accumulating a mass of live reviews from ATL,
Belfast Telegraph, Alternative Ulster to name a few.

With a drummer on lead vocals, where others would sway from this sort of
multi tasking, Mike Mormecha perfects the combo, delivering fluent vocals
while providing a blazing assault on the kit, keeping the fire and passion
alive from the back. Taking care of the forefront are James and Ciaran, both
exude confidence and stage presence beyond their years.

The highlight of the bands existence to date was playing to a sold out home
crowd in support of Biffy Clyro and headlining Belfest 2005. 2006 looks set
to be yet another busy year for Mojo Fury, a recently recorded 3 Track EP
has been completed and includes the already favourite “Shootin for a livin”.
