Bio
Moldun, albeit a relatively new band on the scene, is certainly a band with an old heart. Founded in May 2009, its members all hail from bands well recognized and respected in the Icelandic metal and hardcore scene. Bands such as Still Not Fallen, Bastard, Helshare, Palmprint in Blood, Changer, Fortuna, Universal Tragedy, Embrace the Plague to name a few. The outcome is an outfit dedicated to take Icelandic metal to a new level, armed with brutal riffs and haunting melodies.
While playing with previous bands, the members of Moldun have shared the stage with various international bands such as The Black Dahlia Murder, Municipal Waste, Rotting Christ, Zero Hour and many more. As Moldun, the band played with US band Unrestrained in Iceland in 2009, and Napalm Death (UK) at Eistnaflug festival in 2010.
