Still working on that hot first release.

Molly Roth is much more than a contemporary pop artist: She is a serious, creative force of innate talent emerging from many years of training in music and fine art. Classically trained in piano since she was 6, and schooled in composition, singing, dancing, and painting, Molly has forged her natural gifts with multi-disciplined training to become a genuine performer with something real to say. Whether live on stage or on video or record, she has the presence and strength to instill her music into your heart.

Molly deeply cares about what she creates and she sets her standards high. In her own words “music has wept with me in times of sorrow, laughed with me in times of joy, and has been my most reliable, best friend.”

From her earliest years, Molly has seized every opportunity to learn and perform. Starting out playing piano at weddings, she soon took the initiative of forming her own local band and organizing concerts at local venues like the popular Center for the Arts. Realizing the importance of solid musical training, she studied composition at the renown Music in the Mountains program (a documentary about this just aired on PBS – . This was followed by another band and round of touring in Northern California.

With this background, Molly left Northern California went to the Musicians Institute in LA where she became immersed in the heart of the music industry -- and not just in a classroom. She went through three professional music internships, played keyboard and sang backup vocals in numerous bands, and got plenty of stage presence playing at venues like the Roxy, Knitting Factory, Troubadour, and Key Club. Although her vocal and keyboard skills were in high demand, Molly knew she was capable of a solo career.

Her next stop was London from where she traveled around Europe, taking in the variety of cultures and day to day experiences of life from a different perspective. Being completely free, she was able to hear music in a way that both broadened her musical horizon and deepened her commitment. Since her return to California, Molly has realized that it was time to perform her own music and step out as a solo artist.

Molly has written a new collection of songs for her first album release. She is now in LA looking for the right producer and musicians to collaborate with. A taste of the genuine music to come is shown in her pre-release video, More Than A Couple Of Bars. .
