Americana folk has been used to describe the sound of this sort-of-indy, sort-of-country, but definitely unique sounding band. The husband and wife duo from the opposing backgrounds of Ireland's countryside and urban Denver create a sound and energy that is something special and peculiar. With authentic, colorful vocals and intricate, rhythmic instrumentation, Monaco & Alameda have a sound that captures their audience whether playing with their full band, or as an acoustic duo.
