MONA MUR & EN ESCH

Since 2007, german post punk diva MONA MUR and Industrial Music legend EN ESCH (exKMFDM)
collaborate on stage and in the studio. Unleashed drum loops and synthesizers, wreckless feedback
guitars and the signature vocals of two extraordinary vocalists create a unique blend of rock, tekkno,
industrial, chanson, postpunk avantgarde and melodrama, “half Marlene Dietrich, half Black Sabbath“,
“strange and scary Rock `n’ Roll Cabaret". (NEMESIS UK).
Their debut CD 120 Tage – The Fine Art of Beauty and Violence was released 2009
on PALE MUSIC International and licensed by ARTOFFACT RECORDS Toronto 2010.
The second album “Do With Me What You Want” was released also on Artoffact September 2011. In
Germany, Austria and Switzerland the album will be out on DANSE MACABRE in April 2012,
accompanied by the Remix-Series DO WITH IT WHAT YOU WANT – one remix per month on iTunes.
The series features renowned artists such as FM Einheit, Attrition, Massiv in Mensch and more.
MONA MUR & EN ESCH have performed in New York, Basel, Kopenhagen, Prague, Hamburg,
Oberhausen, St.Petersburg, Moscow, Warsaw, Vienna, Gdansk, Avantgarde Festival Schiphorst, BERLIN
INSANE, at HAMBURGER BAHNHOF MUSEUM Berlin, were interviewed by ARTE TV for the series
„Welcome to the 80s“, featured in POP MATTERS and eternalized as 3D Computergame-Characters
with their Russian version of “120 Tage”.
They played ALTERNATIVA Festival Prag, WROCLAW INDUSTRIAL FESTIVAL, KURT-WEILLFESTIVAL
at BAUHAUS Dessau and WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN Leipzig.
MONA MUR & EN ESCH played many concerts in Canada with SLICK IDIOT in 2010 and 2011. In April
2011 MONA MUR & EN ESCH performed together with exKMFDM-members Günter Schulz and
Raymond Watts as KMFDM RELOAD at the sold–out WAX TRAX! RETROSPECTACLE in Chicago.
The next North America Tour is scheduled for summer 2012.
