Biography

Money Bloxx is hailing from Los Angeles, Ca. USA, as one of the most talented upcoming hip hop artist. Money Bloxx aka Anthony Cross was born inLos Angeles in 1979 and discovered his passion for good music very early on. It was at theage of
8 years old that Money Bloxx got his first Casio keyboard and began putting together what he considers "cheesy rap beats". He knew that it would lead to something bigger for him. During his upbringing, he was faced with the obstacles of life and growing up in the ghetto, but did not let any bad circumstance stunt the growth of his talent. "I just stayed positive as much as possible knowing that working hard would pay off" says Money Bloxx.

During his early teenage years, Bloxx teamed up with a couple of other young talents, among them the artist who would later be known as Shade Sheist. Together, they developed their talents as they gained local notoriety for being in every talent show known in the Los Angeles area. After the group disbanded, Money Bloxx continued to nurture his skills as a wreckless MC.

By 2001, Money Bloxx was not only a force behind the microphone, but also a budding force behind the production boards. Bloxx states, "It was time for me to return back to my original love, making the music".

In 2005, Money Bloxx began production and recording of his untitled debut album scheduled for a Spring 2007 release. For his debut effort, Money Bloxx has worked with rapper Shade Sheist (Where I Wanna Be, John Doe), legendary singer/ producer/songwriter Eric Kirkland (Portrait, Shanice) and other talented artist that will be featured on upcoming Money Bloxx productions. He claims that music fans and industry execs alike should be looking out for his project. Money Bloxx considers himself a westcoast artist but hits you with a multi-regional style because he's lived on the westcoast, in the south and midwest. "Being in different parts of the country only added to my versatility as an artist" says Bloxx.

He's been influenced by a wide variety of musical talents from every corner of the world. Money Bloxx admits to frequently listening to everything from Earth, Wind & Fire, Bone Thugs and Marvin Gaye to Phil Collins and Paul McCartney. "I just loved listening to great artist and composers" says Money Bloxx. No matter if he's dropping a cut for the club or the streets Money Bloxx will deliver his all to bring you a banger.
