Michael Willis, President and CEO of Too Loaded Records Inc. & T L R Entertainment

Michael Willis is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana was born on May 4, 1974 and raised in a part of New Orleans called Algiers in the Christopher Holmes Housing Development, known as Da Chris. His mother, Barbara Willis, a single mother of five, and his grand parents, the late James Lee and Dorothy Mae Jackson raised him.

Michael attended L.B. Landry and O. Perry Walker High School where he was Drum Major for the High School Band from1990 - 1992. While Drum Major he always had a great love for music, but didn't know how far he would take it.

Michael started his first record label called Smoke -1 Records with some mutual friends. In 1994, Michael met with Percy Miller, better known as Master-P owner of No Limit Records, who helped him produce and distribute his first artist, Tre-8, whose CD was entitled, “Ghetto Stories”. However, conflict soon developed between Michael and his associates and he branched out on his own with some financial backing from Percy Miller. He started “Too Loaded Records Inc. and it has been around for the past ten years.

In 2004 Michael landed a distribution deal with the Malaco Music Group and is looking to sign other developing artist in the future. His artist roster consists of Toez-Pacino, Money Mike Willis, Lil Jinks, Missippi and Jai Reed.

Too Loaded Records Inc. consists of a Hip Hop and R & B Division and T L R Entertainment is the Gospel Music Division.

Michael believes with his business skills and the talent of his artist, Too Loaded Records Inc. and T L R Entertainment will both become successful as one of the strongest independently owned companies in the world.
