With Hip-Hop once a platform for creative expression and friendly competition, it has sadly become a popularity contest. With record sales down and ring tone dollars up, rookies searching for that "One Big Hit" seem solely concerned with being deemed "cool." Lyrics have side-stepped, giving way to dance-instructing "rappers", more concerned with sparking the new "Macarena" than being hailed as an MC. On the outside looking in at such followers, are us Money On My Mind Ent.. Rather than conform to music industry standards, Money On My Mind Ent. has plans to blaze there own trail to success that cant be matched. Processing there own struggles into word play, and a typical range more relating to the underground than the mainstream, the lyricists has proven that talent can still make waves in the rap game. Born and raised in the steady, confrontational Oak Cliff streets of Dallas, Texas. They (Big Jig, PlayBezzy, & Sir-Da-Fide) grew up living the regular urban survivor. What wasn't common, however, was the means by which they carried themselves. With a do it my way attitude, Influenced by the G.O.A.T rappers forever live 2Pac, Biggie, Jay-Z, Run DMC and a slew of other great rappers. They (Big Jig,Play Beezy & Sir-Da-Fide) gradually grew leery of such negative messages, gravitating towards the dazzling lyricism of the likes of Nas And Jay-z. In Hip-Hop's popularity contest, Money On My Mind Ent. is the observer, a thinking man brave enough to dictate the acute thoughts that his peers ignore.
