Bio

Ocean Fyre is an umbrella name for our band. Our songs are mostly pop/rock and most feature guitar strongly. We collaborate with each other but mainly write our own individual songs which derive from our own individual inspirations, using what the Ocean Fyre name evokes. We each have our own ideas for songs and lyrics and have all contributed to our first album. The theme seems to have ended up being quite guitar influenced with some songs having a slightly spaghetti-western feel. This hasn't happened intentionally, I would say that our song-writing has just happened. There are influences all the time and propbably most on a subconcious level because we allm love music so much, and most different types too. The piano based songs are very lyrical and mood evoking often creating an expansive feeling, whilst other tracks are fun and specifically descriptive of a particular experience and try and conjure up a picture/photo snapshot. We always see our music visually and this is a big influence, because we want to creat colour! Black and white..PLUS..all the shades in-between. We use our band to create a descriptive forum for all lifes ups and downs, shifts and changes and to form an expressive outlet for the dynamism of life on as many levels as possible. We want to convey experience whilst keeping in synch with the elemental, hence the name. Plus we all want to have as much fun as we can! Our music will constantly evolve.
