MONIQUE FRETT

Monique is a 36 year old woman who is a singer/songwriter/musician. She began singing at a young age in the Virgin Islands where she was raised part of her life. After moving to the Bronx, she continued to sing in churches and school chorales. As a teenager, Monique began to play the keyboard and had excellent keyboard teachers throughout the years. Monique honed her skills by working with choirs and church services. During her teen years she was inspired by a well-known worship leader to begin recording her own music. It was in the early 1990s that Monique began writing original songs. Many of her songs are praise and worship that reflect her relationship with Jesus Christ and her experiences in life. Monique enjoys working with children and adults by imparting what she has been blessed with. Monique knows that God has called her to worship Him and to lead people into His presence. She continues to emphasize that worship is not a talent display, but a lifestyle of submission and obedience to Almighty God. God is more concerned about our heart relationship with Him than with our service.
