MONITOR are Jason Condon(vocals,guitar),Mark Murphy(drums,vocals), Fergal Condon(bass,vocals)&Brian Healy(guitar).The band recorded their debut ep entitled "Lights&Headaches" in June 2005.The ep which was recorded at Finny Corcoran's Bpm studio has set a platform for the band on which they intend to grow on.Monitor have been gigging extensively in their native Cork since it was recorded,playing in venues such as Cyprus Avenue,An Brog,An Cruiscin Lan,De Barras&An Spailpin Fanach.'Lights&Headaches' has recieved incredibly positive reviews as the Evening Echo's Don O' Mahony has described it as an ep of..."swagger and promise"..Likewise Jason's song writing has been described by Hotpress' Jackie Hayden as....."quality indie territory with added commercial value"..Similarly the band have recieved encouraging feedback from labels in both the Uk and Ireland.Monitor have just finished recording a new ep entitled 'Higher Than The Sky".With extensive airplay on Corks Red Fm (including an interview on the 'Green on Red' show) and Cork Campus Radio,the bands profile has raised considerably over the last few months.
