Melbourne band Monkeybone had landed the support for international supergroup Velvet Revolver on their Australian Tour in February 2008.
Monkeybone will be opening for Velvet Revolver at Festival hall in Melbourne on Tuesday February 19th.
Also opening for Velvet Revolver in Sydney at the Enmore Theater on Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th and in Adelaide at the Thebarton Theater on Wednesday the 20th last show of the Australian Tour. - BEAT Magazine

Bio
Formed in London by Mark Wells whilst he was playing bass for The Ronnie Wood Band, Monkeybone began work on their first solo album "Anthology". Relocating back to Australia they finished the album which was mixed by Mark and co-mixed by Stereophonics producer Steve Bush.
In 2006 Monkeybone won a Q Music Songwriting award for "Plausible Deniability".
Monkeybone relocated to Melbourne and recently secured the support slot for Velvet Revolver's Australian tour 2008.
