Mono Bagends, the CEO of Bagends Records, can be described as a highly original and versatile artist on the rise. Compiled of hip-hop and Pop elements, his music maximizes his innovative style and imaginative rap flow.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Bagends has been rapidly spitting rhymes for the past ten years. His ability to rhyme at various tempos while switching up his flow and rhythmic patterns has helped him earn the status quo within the contemporary hip-hop scene. Mono Bagends exemplifies the best part of modern hip-hop music by maintaining particular ideas and notions throughout his musical rhyme schemes; most of his songs strictly pertain to specific topics and can be appreciated throughout various regions of the country—not to mention, his inspirational and motivational visions pertaining to life.
The first time Mono picked up a microphone was on 106 and Park’s Freestyle Friday—he battled three people at one time and made the cut! This performance had been Bagends’ first time performing in front of a live audience, not to mention he had only been rhyming for nearly six months. This impeccable capability gave Mono a chance to spread his naturally fluid rhymes, and since then he has been making a name for himself.
