Steeped in rock anthems and ballads, the music of MONOCHROME is one that has captured the attention of music fans with its melodious tunes, thunderous rhythms, surging riffs and conscience-invading hooks and choruses. From its epic soundscapes and incendiary live shows, the band has received many positive comments and feedback from music producers, artistes, peers, and the common folk alike. Not a band to be daunted by convention or the majority, MONOCHROME injects its bona fide love for music and Alternative Rock into The Monochrome Music Mantra and has garnered many fans from both the preponderance of the English-listening crowd, as well as the Chinese-listening coterie, in Asia, Poland, USA and the UK.
Having shared the stage with international rock acts PARAMORE, and HOOBASTANK, the musically-confident rock quintet, MONOCHROME, sets out to make a difference by writing songs and composing tunes that capture the grandeur and depth of rock, yet having an imaginative sensibility at its core.
From a sonic standpoint, the band’s refusal to be marginalised as just another rock band is evident from their willingness to experiment with different things, yet maintaining a distinct sound that remains perceivable and familiar. Striking a balance between the placid and the really heavy and acerbic, MONOCHROME’s signature style of music is one that not only aims to be put on repeat, but also one that strives to invoke an emotion out of every listener.
Behind an insinuating layer of melodies is a darkly compelling vibe peppered with rock riffs, and acquiesced with intense and complex feelings expressed by the band. Mixing socially conscious topics with deeply personal narratives and unabashedly hopeful expressions, MONOCHROME is bolstered by their collective aim of wanting their music to be as emotional as it is provocative.
Now, the alternative rock quintet are setting their sights on making an impact, leaving their mark and finally, ascending into the pantheon of rock.
