Monolith

In the genre of Death Metal, it is very hard to find a band that really sticks out. There are a lot of talented musicians in this extreme genre, but all these bands sound so similar with their downed tuned guitars and fast blast beats that take up most of their songs. Monolith is a four piece Death Metal band that composes their music with so many different influences that it gives them a sound like no other. Inspiration from bands like Lamb of God, The Black Dahlia Murder, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Lazarus A.D, Motorhead, and so many more great bands. At Planet 10 Studios, in Palatine IL, Monolith just recorded three of their best songs with studio owner-operator, Jimmy Johnson.
