Monroe is an African American R&B Soul singer and songwriter. Born Monroe Sadler in Newport News, VA. Monroe has been in love with music for as long as he could remember. Originally planning to pursue a career in film making as a teenager, Sadler instead decided to focus on music. Monroe has cited legends such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and The Isley Brothers as his biggest musical influences. Many of Monroe’s fans often compare him to a modern day Marvin Gaye because of their vocal similarities. Monroe creates music to inspire people his goal is to promote love, sexuality and healthy relationships.

The singer / songwriter got his start in the music business recording demos and performing at local nightclubs, eventually becoming a respected act in the cities of Atlanta, GA and Baltimore, MD. He parlayed this success into the release of his single, "Let’s Make a Movie" in 2009. The song gained favorable reviews from local press and media and it also set the tone for his follow-up songs such as: “Super Star,” “Can I Get a Peek” and “Rest Stop.” Now Monroe is back with another hot new single which is entitled “ .” Since the release of the song Monroe has already created a crazy buzz in the streets and clubs of both Atlanta and Baltimore.

As a performer Monroe has been fortunate enough to open for some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop and R&B. Such musical alliances include; Brownstone, Silk, Mac10, Killer Mike, Bone Crusher, David Banner and Kurtis Blow. The aspiring musician admits to being no stranger to hard work and perseverance, throughout his career he’s been making sacrifices to become the best musician that he could possibly be. His skills and accomplishments have been recognized by his fans that support his shows and introduce new fans to his movement. Monroe is currently touring the country and working on a new album, which is slated to hit the market in the Sumer of 2010
