Montray Cherry

Montray stands 5’7’ and weighs 130lbs. He creates magic when he is on stage performing. His stage presence also comes natural as he performs to Michael’s songs with an agility that is astonishing, if not unbelievable. He is electric. His moves crack like a whip. He releases a barrage of energy that is first mesmerizing and then simply exhausting for the audience to follow. His gestures, style, and routines are Michael, but the talent is Montray’s.

Talent is why Montray won all of the school talent shows that he attend in middle school the older he got the more talented he became. The brilliance of Montray Cherry is something you have to experience for yourself.

Montray has performed for the famous “Show Time at the Apollo” He won first place by performing Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean. Montray is starting to make a name for himself. Montray has also appeared with the R &B group Black Street and Rapper Philly Swing.

In 2009 Montray dedicated a special concert to Michael Jackson after his untimely death. The Freedom Theater is where he brought the house down and the Michael Jackson fans were on their feet. He received a standing ovation by the audience. Montray also performs with a production company base out of New York City called Love Production.

He has traveled to many different places, California, Canada, North Carolina, and London. In 2010 Montray Cherry opened up at the famous venue called the Robin hood Dell East, he was the opening act for Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant the artist themselves became fans of Montray performance once again he received a standing ovation.
