Four first generation Americans try to find themselves in the city of diversity; New York. Together they've brought their distinct personalities into a brew of music that will help provide a breath of fresh air and bring the listener an experience of music that respects tradition but delves into new realms of possibility. The possibility of the resurgence of music as an important part of ones life, not merely just a catchy tune, but something internally moving and valuable. Value, something that music has seemed to have lost in recent years, we the Monumints strive to create that resurgence of value in our western culture. Music that melds all the best elements of pop/rock with the improvisational sensibilities of jazz and folk-based music. A blend that will only get stronger in the years to come.
