Moon & the Sea is a captivating, genre-defining duo in Nashville, Tennessee. Members, Callie Courter and Chad Gross, both have Georgia roots, but met in Nashville, and quickly began writing original music. They’re currently working on recording their first full-length album, to be released Fall 2015.
They come from very different musical backgrounds. Callie earned a degree in Music, focusing in classical vocal performance. She gets lost in the lyrics and in the poetry of song writing . Chad is a self-taught guitarist with heavy influences from blues and jazz, that accentuate the tragically beautiful melodies showcased in their music. Together, they have created a sound that captivates audiences with soul-searching lyrics and with a diverse catalog of songs they leave the audience wanting more. Together, they offer a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack of all they have been through, all they have learned, and all they wish to discover. Together, they are the Moon & the Sea.
