""Shake" Track Premiere"

"What's most impressive though, is that this dude doesn't use any samples, and builds his beats from scratch." - Noisey/VICE

""Shake" Track/Video Feature"

"His voice, like a sultry Ben Folds, and instrumentals likened to the finest of experimental producers, Moon Bounce has found himself a unique place in the electronic music realm." - Earmilk

""Marvelous Beast" Track Premiere"

"Some of the most original electronic music around right now. His attention to detail and propensity for original sounds puts him in a league of his own." - PORTALS

""Dress Rehearsal" EP Stream Premiere"

"From the looks of his live set, it was clear this man was on to something big." - Potholes In My Blog

""Fool" Track Premiere"

"Regensburg’s work on “Fool” hints that he may be capable of mixing the knowingly playful and the emotionally exploratory in the same ways that make Hot Chip one of the most beloved synth-pop bands ever. And that is very good company for an up-and-comer indeed." - Line Of Best Fit

""Echo Back" Track Premiere"

"Throughout its four-minute runtime, “Echo Back” negotiates through a few different wavelengths, all good, but the best is the climax, which plops and churns along like a sweaty convulsion." - Stereogum

""Shake" Video Premiere"

"Philadelphia-based electronic producer Moon Bounce has teamed with director Andrea Youth to put a vicious, warped spin on decidedly dreamy, dancey tune, “Shake,” - Fangoria

""Whore" Video Premiere"

"Moon Bounce embeds crooning vocals into waves of sound that erupt like ocean swells slapping against a shore, and pockets of silence give way to surges of melody and tremendous drum hits." - THUMP/VICE

"An Evening With Moon Bounce"

In an electronic music scene largely defined by pulsing festival-ready beats at one end and glitchy, abstract introspection at the other, Corey Regensburg, aka Moon Bounce, stands out as something of an enigma. His peculiar blend of joyous, warped synths, choppy beats, and brilliantly simple, self-aware lyrics doesn't fit neatly into any subgenre. So he invented his own.

Moon Bounce is not a DJ. Whatever anxieties and insecurities Corey may have offstage, he is a man possessed beneath the lights. After danceable but undramatic sets from the local openers, the crackling first bars of 'Body' are a revelation.

For the next forty minutes, his hands move maniacally, twisting knobs, hitting drum pads, and playing melodies on a synthesizer, only pausing to pick up the microphone. He seems to take each element and drape himself within, transforming both parties in the process. "I try to make sure that I always have something I'm doing up there," he tells me later. The moments when he steps away from the table to take a drink of water and dance are rare and celebratory. They feel earned.

By the time he closes with the double shot of 'Echo Back' and 'Fool', the crowd beneath him is sweating through their jogging pants and Nike Zooms. Electronic music is the medium; it's clear the message has been delivered. - The 405

Moon Bounce is Philadelphia’s warped electronic maestro, Corey Regensburg. Taking cues from classic R&B, hip-hop and even the rhythmic lurching of metal, Corey’s recognizable sound is the culmination of his unique artistic endeavors. Walking the fine line between creation and disintegration, his output combines soulful vocals with jagged percussion; calming, yet on the verge of falling apart.

After sharing the stage with the likes of Shlohmo, Teen Daze, Phaeleh, Groundislava and ANR, his most recent Dress Rehearsal EP yielded BBC 6, Rinse FM, KCRW, Radio Nova, etc. radio play and a plethora of blog support for lead single, “Shake”. The jarring, puppet-based music video for “Shake” was later nominated for the Berlin Music Video Awards.

Moon Bounce’s knack for making ethereal, intricate productions that feel loose and endless while simultaneously maintaining a precise, mature balance ensures his vision continues to grow and creativity to shine in an otherwise predictable musical climate.
