Released first full length album, self titled "Moon Pulls the Ocean" in sep. 2008. Self recorded and produced at a professional level, the album has sold excedigly well on iTunes and in local music shops in Seattle.
Limited airplay on KEXP 90.3 on the local music showcase. The band was recently approached by Pandora.com for online play and is currently undergoing the application process.

Bio
A young band, ave age 19, Moon Pulls the Ocean doesn't show its age. The 4 male members of varying backgrounds grew up in Seattle listening to their parents music, the likes of Motown and classic rock of the 60s and 70s. Their appreciation for real authenticity and musicianship as well as heart, allowed them to quickly get a handle on their direction musically. Although they have distanced themselves from these origins and found their way to an entirely different place (genre wise), their common roots allow for an extremely organic process of creating music.
Early 2008, Kaela Kahn arrived on the scene and seamlessly entered the band, giving depth and luster to the already melodic band. Her musical expertise and creativity opened up new doors and gave the band a real boost of confidence.
Moon Pulls the Ocean has been gaining momentum in the Seattle music scene, filling up local watering holes and opening for big named bands like the Fruit Bats, Sera Cahoone, and other SUP POP bands. They are on the cusp of great success, as we all know, you can't hold good music down.
