Bio
Our story is simple: Janet and Mick met in Dec. of 1999 in San Diego, CA. They started writing and recording music together. The music they write is really a journey into the heart, mind and soul of themselves and humanity, and wrestles with all the struggles, joys, disappointments, heartbreaks, the good, the bad, and the ugly that go with it all.
Their adult alternative sound is unique, and draws from their diverse backrounds. From folk, rock, singer-songwriter, to blues, latin, classical, and even some Pink Floyd-ish flavors... Moonridge covers a wide gammut, yet maintains a cohesive, widely appealing sound.
After getting married, having a son in 2003, and writing, recording, and playing at many different venues in San Diego, Los Angelos, Burbank, Big Bear, and many other cities in Southern California, Janet and Mick moved to Nashville, TN in 2007 to further pursue their music. Since being here, they have played such places as Music City Bar and Grill, Krooners, Dad's Place, and many other venues.
Our goal as a band is to play our music and spread an upbeat and positive message to as many people as possible, with music that is sonically new, ear catching, and unlike anything else in the market today.
