Mora sti Fotia is the band of Stelios Salvador – a lyric writer, song composer, bass player and singer – who’s, debut album, created a hallmark on the Greek Rock scene, combining successfully, rock and roll sound, with Greek lyrics of social content, creating rock songs, with “brave” melodies, which are abundant in Greek music generally. In 1999, they set to music, works of great Nobel Price Greek poets Georgos Seferis, Odysseas Elitis and poet Kostas Karyotakis. In 2004, Stelios Salvador created his own label, baby records, and also introduced brass instruments, adding Balkan character, in the band’s instrumentations and their live performances.
