"All Music Guide"

MORE sounds like a well-packaged band ready to break out.

About "Second Time Around":

"The band's dual guitars and athletic rhythm section seem very comfortable with the straightforward rock."

". . . reaches refreshingly back to a time when bands didn't have qualms about huge-voiced vocalists and solo-heavy rockers." - All Music Guide

"melodic.net"

In case you thought NYC ran out of new string promising bands, you might think twice 'cause this five member combo called MORE released a brainstorming melodic mini release in the likes of Jimmy Eat World and best Foo Fighters tradition.

"Split the Difference" is . . . one nice fat dose of pure modern rock. This is actually pure and I mean PURE modern rock cause we got all the typical elements here like strong melodies, edgy guitars combined with a strong vocal performance here from Tom Morrissey. The opener "Loosely" is a stunning track, a hit in my ears with one of the best verses last year and chorus that just stuck in the forehand . . . This EP is worth buying just for that song, but with other goodies like “Signs” and “Next To Me” , I just can’t anything else than positive words about "Split The Difference". So
if you’re into quality bands like Stir, Modern Day Zero and why not say Closure, MORE is a band that you definitely must check out. - Johna Wippsson

"2003 CMJ New Music Report - Music Marathon Edition"

". . . an agressive and accessible sound that captures both the grit and slickness of the city the band calls home."

“Staying true to its name, MORE supplies a fountain of unrelenting hooks and pummeling rhythms that demand attention, making lesser bands seem bland in comparison. So, thanks to this New York mainstay, music fans don’t have to settle for imitators – now we can demand MORE.” - CMJ

"Bands to Watch"

"Urban rockers are creating a buzz with their flashy stage show and distinct brand of hook-laden, melodic hard rock. At their loud, high energy live performances . . . audience members cannot seem to get enough. The MORE guys have the appearance of future rock stars . . . [b]ut they also have the goods musically, with songs reflecting their classic rock, metal and pop roots. People have begun to take notice..." - New York Post

"CD Baby - Editor's Pick"

“Keeping you absolutely transfixed from the first moment and never once losing their sonic grip on your shirt collar (whilst your jaw has hit the linoleum with a bang) "MORE" lives up to their name with abundant hooks, overflowing lyricism and well-endowed guitar lines. An all-you-can-eat buffet of power pop brilliance. More, please." - CD Baby

"Kings of A&R - A&R Report"

Anthemic, radio-ready, modern rock/alternative that can be both edgy & undeniably hooky. Discography includes the debut album Someone Like No One (2002) and the new 4-song EP Second Time Around. Accomplishments include a 2002 L.A. Music Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Independent Music Scene, multiple spins on NYC's Q104.3 "Out of the Box" new music radio show and invitations to NYC's M.E.A.N.Y. Fest and Canada's North by Northeast Music Festival. Recently commenced a 300-station nationwide college radio campaign w/Tinderbox Music and is showcasing at the 2003 CMJ Music Marathon – Saturday, October 25 at Tobacco Road, 9:00pm. Was the only unsigned artist featured in the Music Marathon issue of CMJ. - Kings of A&R

"North By Northeast Music Festival"

“The New York Post's claim that 'they have the goods musically' was vindicated by their appearance at the last two NXNEs. Metal, classic rock and pop stylings are buffed with vigorous, versatile vocals and aggressive guitars.” - NXNE
