The band “More Than Planes” performed at our brewery on Friday January 15, 2010. They are an exceptional group of fine young men who gave an outstanding performance on the evening they played. We had an overwhelming crowd that evening and are looking forward to them playing at Orlando Brewing again in the near future.
I especially was impressed with the fact they were able to do their entire show with “original” music which is our corporate policy i.e. “no covers”.

More Than Planes is an unprecedented assembly of four extremely visionary men striving to revolutionize modern rock with their riveting hooks, exhilarating instrumentation, and demonstrative vocals. Each of these men exhibits a very unique and specific tenor, and the assimilation they have comprised is virtually unstoppable.
Only a few short weeks following their debut performance, More Than Planes was honored with having their song, “I Won’t Fade” selected for the Summit Independent Artists Compilation CD which displays the most promising new artists from the entire Southeast US. More Than Planes has currently landed radio play in Orlando and Tampa Bay, Florida from their first full LP album “Right Idea, Wrong Note” which was released in February 2010 and available on iTunes, Amazon, and the band’s website. They played in front of a sold out show with Fit For Rivals and have shared the stage with some incredible bands such as Stockholm, Loveloud, and 22 Blaac.
The men of More Than Planes are extremely passionate about music and together have indefinitely created an inventive hybrid for amicable acoustic melodies, and the exhilarating velocity in which rock is ultimately prominent for. Their dedication to perfection about their sound and performances makes them a tough act to follow!
More Than Planes will be releasing their second full length album in July of 2011 with a tour to follow.
