Morlox

Morlox is the solo hardware driven IDM project of Patrick Urn whose 15 year music career has included such projects as Syphilis Sauna , In Ether , Hedone Tears (featuring Gitane Demone of Christian Death)  , 7718 and Drones .Urn has shared the stage with such well known acts as Hecate , Steven Stapleton (of nurse with wound ) , Rob Hall (of Warp Records) Ablecain, Xanopticon and many others .  Under the moniker of Morlox Urn shifts his focus away from breakcore and gabber to complex live sequencing and heavy synth lines  . Gaining notoriety locally and nationally for tracks on such compilations as Switched on Satan , Scolex presents Strategies against Breakcore and more recently a split tape with Church Fire released on Oakland based Myshiteatstapes . Morlox sites such varied influences as Coil to Autechre to Italo Disco and everywhere in between .
