Bio
Started in August of 2012, Mormon Crosses features Jesse Taylor on electric guitar and vocals wth Bryce Agecoutay on drums and back-up vocals, along with Casey Preston on Bass. The release of their first album 'Ash and Temple,' is a summary review of their first half year of work. Exploring a plethora of themes, Mormon Crosses' songs range from heavy and dark, as heard on Blush Negative Eyes, to more pop-oriented tracks, like Christy, all with a lyrical eye toward the margins of society, self-medicated sentimentality and pop-culture inflected occultism. 'Ash and Temple' stands as a monument to fallen members of the Vancouver scene and Mormon Crosses hope to illuminate those things that the city seeks so eagerly to forget.
