Morning Face

We formed in Jersey in 2009 after being asked to play 60's covers at a party. We had prepared a set list of around 45 minutes but on the night, ended up playing for 2 and half hours. We seemed to gel as musicians and had a tight connection straightaway. Not being thrilled with just playing covers, our set soon changed to predominantly original material. After about 6 months of writing our own music, we entered a competiton to play on the mainstage of Jersey Live Festival, and fortunately, we won, gaining the opportunity to play alongside artists such as Paul Wheller, Biffy Clyro, Groove Armada and The View. Since then we have continued to gig regularly and write new material all the time. We have been based in Liverpool for the last 6 months, giving ourselves more time to spend kicking the band off.
Our influences include Incubus, Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, Reuben and Smashing Pumpkins.
