Bio

Morning Hush are a rock band from Dublin. The group formed in 2003 with Jonathan Boyle, Sean Ryan and Ross Kelly after a chance meeting in London and through a shared appreciation of David Bowie, The Beatles, Tori Amos and Smashing Pumpkins. With a collection of songs written by Jonathan Boyle, the group began practising in the following year, making their live debut on the Dublin live circuit in 2004.

Following the recording of “A Red September”, a EP featuring live favourites such as “Love and Death” and “The River”, Morning Hush began to thrill Dublin audiences with a unique alternative rock sound of spiraling guitars and heavy drum beats. The band began playing around Ireland, including supporting such bands as God Is An Astronaut.

In early 2008, Morning Hush added vocalist and synthesizer player Rachel Boyle to the band. With a renewed purpose and energy, the band completed the recording of a new EP to be freely distributed on the band's myspace and at upcomming gigs. The band will return to the studio in July 2008 to record their current live favourite "Romance" as their first single. In support of this, Morning Hush will play shows in Cork, Limerick, Galway, Dundalk, Waterford and Dublin to coincide with the release.
