The members of Mosaic Minds come from a diverse spectrum of musical backgrounds. Hailing from Oklahoma City, the band’s lead vocalist, Julie Pham, delivers exciting, sultry and evocative vocals. Bringing guitar lyricism into the mix is native Texan, Ruben Soto on lead guitar. Jeff Miles presents a strong melodic element rarely found in a bass player.
Although a young, up-and-coming, musically artistic presence in Dallas Texas, this four piece pop/rock groove band has already received airplay on the east coast. Mosaic minds has developed a loyal following and continue to attract an ever-increasing draw of support with each appearance. The band started out playing with no demo but quickly developed a regular gigging schedule by reputation and by word of mouth. Mosaic Minds was only two months old when they were asked to play for a local music segment on a Dallas sports radio station, 1310 The Ticket. After only eight months together, they won 2nd place in Full Force Productions’ Battle of the Bands, receiving top scores for originality and musical talent. Mosaic Minds is quickly fulfilling their performance and recording goals as seen by the rate of their success thus far. Julie Pham, an elite member of GoGirls Music, is also endorsed by SwirlyGig.com as well as BestFemaleMusicians.com, making Mosaic Minds one of the select few to be named a “hot” band on the website.
In the time of seemingly verbose sounds from a large variety of bands, it is the fresh, engaging access and diverse independence of Mosaic Minds that confidently invites you away from the norm to really enjoy the different.
