The best kept secret in music

"Artist of the Week"

Music Artist of the Week ! Mosby is two unsuspecting 20 something rockers from Tulsa, OK. Wade and Aaron Burrow are guitar playing brothers who have travelled all over the south to southwest looking for a genuine sound. A topical sound that says something, but in some cases says nothing at all. They have played in a couple of bands in Tulsa and have made this place home. They use vintage equipment with Pete Cornish and various other coloring tools. They have survived unique situations together and expect that some of the musical content expresses the ripple effect of our experiences in a more classic and familiar form. Music LOVES this band, great riffs, hardedge RnR CHECK THEM OUT !. -

Feeling a bit camera shy

Wade Burrow started Mosby with his brother Aaron Burrow in Febuary 2005 after a difficult break up of Curtis Lowe. Curtis Lowe was a popular local band in Tulsa, OK that was award nominated by the Tulsa World for upcoming artist and was one of the staple original acts for Tulsa. Instead of being distraught by the events leading to the break up Wade felt like it was an opportunity to write and craft a writing style based on a more familiar form like classic rock with a definate modern twist. It was very important for him to get back to solid melodies that told a story or had something to say just like some of his main influences like Bob Dylan, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Chris Cornell, and Fugazi. Our sound consists of hard edged guitar riffs and Melody that hooks the listener into the music. With the help of bassist Phillip Hanewinkle of whom I met through the producer of our latest creations and drummer Dylan Duvall we have created a band that the industry desparately needs, a band with connectivity with a larger demographic. A band that appeals to the soul and stands as an oasis for those in the brutal desert of mainstream rock.
