Bio

Born Kenneth Jones, Mo' Skillz is determined to be one of the greats at whatever he does. A native of East St. Louis, Ill. and a former high school football star, he believes that determination and perserverance will be all he’ll need to take him to the heights he desires to be one of the world’s greatest entreprenuers and inspirations for the less fortunate. Mo' Skillz knows that if you combine talent with a strong support team, the foundation for any successful individual, not even the worst social conditions can stop you from rising to the top. “It didn’t stop Darius Miles-- or Tina Turner for that matter, and they all from here” says Skillz, in regards to making it in the entertainment industry.

Represented by Brave Management, he knows that local fans and neighborhood friends are anticipating his inevitable explosion, as he’s already been involved with promoting over seventy shows in St. Louis and the surrounding areas, all involving major-label artists who he's developed priceless relationships with over time. Constantly on his grind, honing his craft, Mo' Skillz says he’s taken the stage more than once already, and has no qualms with stepping to the mic at a moment’s notice, whether it be to give a speech or perform his latest burner.

A.K.A. “The Project Prophet” Ken’s skills have evolved over the past ten years since he first decided to get in the game in 96'. From his humble beginnings as a bass singer in an R&B quartet to becoming a budding entreprenuer and an all around entertainer fluent in the art of rhyme, songwriting, and production, Mo' Skillz sees no end in sight. Now a 50/50 partner with Dr. Ben in the newly formed Jones/Chavis Entertainment, Mo' Skillz says he wants to help his people until the day he dies, so he has no fear that true believers in the power of the hip-hop movement will come to learn his name and respect his grind.

Among those he believes who have already made strides in music are: Tupac, Aerosmith, Biggie and Jay-Z, as he sees great things coming from newer names like Young Jeezy and Paul Wall.
