I'll be your cowboy, you can be my star.
We'll stay up all night singin', Hank Williams songs.
I never thought my life would ever get this far.
I'll be your cowboy, you can be my star.

Headed down that scary highway.
It's a road I ain't been down.
But I'll take a chance, and head on down that road,
If you say you'll stick around.

I'll be your cowboy, you can be my star.
We'll stay up all night singin', Dierks Bentley songs.
I never thought my life would ever get this far.
I'll be your cowboy, you can be my star.

I never thought this would happen.
I never thought I'd fall in love.
It's so hard, to keep it from the world,
That you're the one I'm thinkin' of.

I'll be your cowboy, you can be my star.
We'll stay up all night singin', Josh Gracin songs.
I never thought my life would ever get this far.
I'll be your cowboy, you can be my star.

INSTRUMENTAL

I'll be your cowboy, you can be my star.
We'll stay up all night singin', Merle Haggard songs.
I never thought my life would ever get this far.
I'll be your cowboy, you can be my star.

If You Come Around
by Mo Stroemel

Who'd of ever thought, I'd find an angel in here.
Smoky glass, smell of stale beer.
Yet there you stand, with a smile on your face.
How the hell did I find this place?

Things ain't always, what they seem.
Tonight you'll fill up all my dreams
And if you come around,
I'll lay you down.

You said I could have anything I see
Well I have visions baby, of you and me
Now I know that's not what you meant to say
So pour me another and I'll be okay

Love has way of easing the pain
Love has a way of making us insane
And if you come around,
I'll lay you down.

I'll drink my troubles away one glass at a time
I must be losin' my mind.

Come over here and fill my glass
I promise you it'll be my last
And if you come around,
I'll lay you down.

Egyptian kings and fancy rings, going to the zoo.
Bubble gum, the setting sun, a boxing kangaroo.
Lullabies, coyote cries, diamonds in the rough.
Nightingales and dusty trails, swimming in the buff.

Wondrous as they seem,
These things you'll come to know
You find them on the way
As you grow.
As you grow.

Hot air balloons and macaroons, a swan out on the lake.
A tambourine, a submarine, cookies that you bake.
Flying fish, make a wish, church bells in the morn.
An apple tree a bumble bee, a piece of candy corn.

I will promise this
Time will surely show
The world will come to you
As you grow
As you grow

All these things and more
will wash up on the shore
Of love's eternal glow
As you grow.

Red rose and rainbows, cotillions on the lawn
Sailboats and castle moats, a rooster's crow at dawn.
Seagulls and baseballs, long walks in the park,
Red guitars the planet Mars, kisses in the dark.

Wondrous as they seem,
These things you'll come to know.
You find them on the way,
As you grow.
As you grow.

Well, I’m a thousand miles from home
Sittin’ here drinkin’ my Bud Lite all alone.
And I’m thinkin’ about when,
I’m gonna see you again.
Back there, in my Pennsylvania home.

Where the Brandywine runs deep and wide
And the crisp white snow covers the mountainside.
And when the Allegheny band, plays Roll Out the Barrel again,
I’ll dance with you ’neath the Pennsylvania moon.

I miss you more than I can say.
And I think about you every single day.
Sittin’ by the pond,
With your favorite sun dress on.
Back there, in my Pennsylvania home.

Where the Susquehanna rises near the bend
And the fields of corn go on without end.
And when the Allegheny band, plays Roll Out the Barrel again,
I’ll dance with you ’neath the Pennsylvania moon.

BRIDGE
Why I ever came this far,
When I want to be right there where you are.

INTERLUDE

Where the Tussey mountain range reveals the sun
Where the battle was fought to keep the Union one.
And when the Allegheny band, plays Roll Out the Barrel again,
I’ll dance with you ’neath the Pennsylvania moon.

Yeah, when the Allegheny band, plays Roll Out the Barrel again,
I’ll dance with you ’neath the Pennsylvania moon.

What a Man Wants

What a Man Wants

Sitting on a stool in a Roanoke bar, trying to mind my own.
Talking to the guy sitting next to me, I was telling him about my home.
When a blue eyed blonde pushed in between us, and she pulled a stunt
She looked at me and said, "What do men want?"

And I said cold beer, comfortable shoes, a thick juicy steak.
Go fast, turn left, a good spot at the lake.
Well, you can talk about, you can analyze it, but what a man wants,
Is a woman who knows just what he wants.

Well, I know I shoulda been more polite, but just couldn't help myself.
So she flipped her hair and she headed off to ask somebody else.
Sooner or later she was back at the bar, and I knew she was in the hunt.
When she cornered a guy and said, "What do men want?"

And I yelled a shot of Jack, a Stetson hat, good power tools.
A riding mower, snow blower, an in ground pool.
Well, you can talk about, you can analyze it, but what a man wants,
Is a woman who knows just what he wants.

Well, why she ever brought it up, I don't know.
But you think that sooner or later, she'd let it go.

INTERLUDE

Well I couldn't see her anywhere as I looked around the room,
So I made my move and I headed for the door, but I guess I left a little too soon.
She was standing by the door looking mighty bored as she shoved me in the telephone booth
Then she opened the door and said, "Tell me the truth"

And I said a perfect game, the Super Bowl, our picture with the Stanley Cup
Tattoo, cowboy boots, good hunting pup
Well, you can talk about, you can analyze it, but what a man wants,
Is a woman who knows just what he wants.

And I said a power boat, a leather coat, a Martin guitar
Snowmobile, good fly reel, a muscle car.
Well, you can talk about, you can analyze it, but what a man wants,
Is a woman who knows just what he wants.
Yeah a guy wants a woman who knows what he wants.

Tomorrow Will Never Come
Mo Stroemel
Long Tree Music, 2004

Sittin' here in this smoky old bar,
Thinkin 'bout that night in your car,
Wonderin' if you feel the same way, too.

Crawled out of my bed today,
Tried to chase those cobwebs away.
Tried to find a clearer memory of you.

And if you think about me now,
I'll find a way to you somehow.
And if you wish upon that bar,
I'll love you like tomorrow will never come.

Tried to call you on the telephone,
But I know you ain't got no dial tone.
Guess I'll hang it up, and call it a day.

I can't wait to hear your voice,
Every nigth when I'm out with the boys.
It's Kinda hard to explain this away.

And if you think about me now,
I'll find a way to you somehow.
And if you wish upon that bar,
I'll love you like tomorrow will never come.

Crawled out of my bed today,
Tried to chase those cobwebs away.
Tried to find a clearer memory of you.

And if you think about me now,
I'll find a way to you somehow.
And if you wish upon that bar,
I'll love you like tomorrow will never come.

And if you wish upon that star,
I'll love you like tomorrow will never come.

I'll love you like tomorrow will never come.
