Motherfunky are horde from Prijedor, Bosnia, and participients of this year, a second " Nektar demo Fest" in Banjaluka. During the previous year they did in their own a Demo offering, where we can find a 4 songs in : " Under pressure", "Why", "Did You", "Jump". A mentioned tracks suppose to show its actuelle ( from previous year ) shape and possibilities as a band. Motherfunky are on the field of few genre's forms, traced between nu metal, metal core and rap core elements as well. They are also infected by the grunge movement, and especially by the 90's period too. In its sound we can also recognize some other alter details. A songs are sung in English , and listening a group's materials, we can feel a specific enthusiashm and passion, when they performs its songs. They maniristically more or less, did what they want to on expecting level, and they are pretty convinceble in its attitudes. But, on the other hand, they simply suffers from less originalities, and mentioned detail could be a serious problem for them in near future.

Motherfunky was formed at the end of 2006 in Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Playing a mixture of Nu metal and hardcore with a bit of grunge and the crossover of the 1990s the band strives from the beginning to be as much original and recognizable in the region. The main influences include Rage Against The Machine,Pearl Jam,Limp Bizkit,Alice in Chains,Korn,Linkin Park,Disturbed,Red Hot Chili Peppers,Godsmack...
They are writing their own songs in English and have a mini demo album of four songs (Did you, Underpressure, Why? and Jump) recorded in the recording studio Manifest in Prijedor.
During the three year existence Motherfunky performed at dozens of clubs throughout BiH and also at almost every festival in BiH (PYAF in Jablanica, MUF fest in Orasje, Rastok fest in Jelah, BH demo fest in Tuzla, Grubo Budjenje fest in Prijedor, Wings of Hope fest at Bjelasnica, May Day fest in Prijedor, and performed within POP Tour).
In 2009, Motherfunky participated in one of the biggest demo festivals in region, Nektar Demo Fest in Banja Luka (performing aside with world renowned bands such as Kosheen, Therapy?, Asian Dub Foundation).
The same year, the band came to the super finals of the Jaegermusicnight program and won a direct participation at 2010 Banja Luka Rock Open Air Festival. During the program Motherfunky performed in Banja Luka with Generacija 5 as a special guest, held a concert in Bihac and performed at super finals in Mostar along with Dubioza Kolektiv.
The upcoming venues include: Banja Luka Rock Open Air Festival and Urban Fest Osijek,PivoLend Festival Skoplje, WHF fest Siroki Brijeg as well as several club gigs in the region.
In the meantime, Motherfunky continues writing music and prepares for a new demo release, as well as for making a video.
