Motor City Josh, raised up playing music in the church as the son of a preacher woman and man, has had music coursing through his veins from a very young age. Josh's own unique style is the result of a broad spectrum of influences: everything from the Beatles' melodic sense to Albert Collins' gritty, low-down electric blues. His deep, raspy baritone is reminiscent of Louis Armstrong or a young Dr. John. The dual lead guitar approach of Motor City Josh and John Rhoades is a melodic tribute to the Allman Bros taken a step further into a modern sound. This dynamic quartet takes the listener on a journey from high energy booty-shaking to the sublime.
