Mountain Country is a Salt Lake City band initially formed around the award winning songwriting and the passionate performances of Jim "Fish" Svendsen. Mountain Country performs original raw energy acoustic music; playing tightly-crafted original material that lends itself to a modern audience, as well as being stewards to some of those old-time bluegrass traditions. Add to that their stylized cover tunes of popular artists and you've got yourself a full night of floor stomping music!
