Bio

Malkah Duprix has been singing and writing songs since she was a wee young girl. She has had many musical adventures, including embarking on an Amtrack tour through the south with her band when she was still a teenager, which included a star-struck night rubbing elbows with various Athens luminaries and playing with what her new friends assured her was Mike Mills' dog, 'Mr. Magoo'. Born and raised in Seattle, she left to live for many years in Denver before selling everything and piling what was left on top of her car and heading (North)West to return to the Northwest to rock.

Greg Flint is also from Washington. He has played drums in numerous bands and currently also plays in Mighty Shiny, who recorded an album with Jack Endino, promptly disbanded, and are now back on the scene. He has also produced embarassing autobio comicbooks, and makes music on his own as Fullrotor - singing, playing the guitar and whacking on various other instruments.

Mountain Kids Fantasy brings them together, resulting in a heady mix of straight-ahead pop rock, punky thrash, and the occasional country song. They're currently neck-deep recording songs for their first release, and have recently played such Seattle clubs as the Sunset, High Dive, Skylark, MarsBar and yes, the Blue Moon.

Influences include Tom Waits, The Beatles, Mary Timony, and many others they refuse to name for fear of recrimination.
