"Receding Silence Reznsion"

It's only in German Sorry for that.

Fesche Gesichter, geile Musik, fette Show.
Mountains Lead Nowhere Band

Mountains Lead Nowhere - Receding Silence

- enemy.at

"The other song of the mountains"

The music of ‘Mountains lead Nowhere’ moves effortlessly between fragility and extensive, heavy sounds, that flow every now and then into ecstatic highs. Spherical song constructs condense into hymn-like compositions and are supported by striking vocals. The bandleader is the 21-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist David Maier, who is responsible not only for the lyrics and the songwriting but for the entire production of the album as well. For the recordings he is assisted by drummer Josef Schmiderer, who joined the band at the end of 2012. Together with Johannes Kaufmann on keyboards, Pia Hager on synthesizers, Lisa Maier on percussion and Simon Engels on bass, the band comes together to create the dynamic sounds of ‘Mountains lead Nowhere’. “Receding Silence”, the title of their debut album is set to release on the 4th of June 2013 by Lamb Lane Records. - Christian Maier
