Mourning Light currently has a single, "Holding My Breath", being showcased during the Centralia College "Christian Power Hour". This song is the first taste of their "Death Ended Here" EP, which is set to be released in the fall of 2010.

Bio
Mourning Light is comprised of four individuals with very different testimonies and musical influences. It is this eclectic combination of influences and insight that gives Mourning Light a sound unique to them.
Lilla King, the lead vocalist and songwriter, is heavily influenced by lyrically challenging bands such as Thrice and Blindside as well as early American poets like Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allen Poe. Matthew Winter, the guitarist, is inspired both by metal legends such Iron Maiden and Megadeth, and modern rock icons like Dream Theatre. Marc Bell , on bass, plays in the musical stylings of Rancid and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Simon King, the drummer, is influenced by metal bands like Demon Hunter and Becoming the Archetype, as well as thrash punk bands such as MxPx and Alkaline Trio.
Even more important than their unique sound is Mourning Light's ministry. Although each member comes from a different background they have all come to a deep personal relationship with Christ and want to share that experience with others. Their ministry is focused on presenting the Gospel in a relevant way to the artists and Outcasts of this generation.
