Bio

This band began in 2007 as a dream between two friends, Doug & Gavin. Many long nights were spent writing and composing the songs that would eventually consitute their current album, Your Love Reigns Down. After a lot of prayer and fading patience, the Lord provided the rest of the band members in 2009. Jeff Rockholt, talented drummer, and the lone female of the group, Terrie Flath, completed the group and enabled the music to come to life.

The band has been influenced by Third Day, Casting Crowns, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Chris Tomlin, among others. Their songs appeal to a wide range of audiences, touching upon themes of praise, worship, joy, sorrow, and good old fashioned “rocking out”. Each song contains a pearl of truth, which resonates to listeners in all walks of life.

The keyboardist and songwriter of the band, Doug Wills, experienced a malignant melanoma in one finger during the writing process. The loss of the keyboardist’s finger left him afraid and grieving. Ultimately, the “nine-fingered piano man” pulled through, and wrote “Your Love Reigns Down” as a result. This song captures Doug’s emotional turmoil and the compassion of God during his health crisis.

The lead singer, Gavin Rajnus, is a third generation potato farmer by day. Gavin is passionate about nurturing growth and ultimately reaping a harvest, whether it be in the dirt of the fields or on the sound stage. Gavin brings levity and joy to the group and the music, occasionally break dancing on stage and spitting rhymes in the song “Savior Calling”.

Life experience, testing, and trials have molded a band with a deep understanding of the grace of Christ. They lean away from mere religion, instead holding fast to the deep truths that Christ himself spent time teaching. Each song, in one manner or another, is an expression of the Good News of Christ. It is a joyous and hopeful future that awaits the believer in Christ.

The band’s name and purpose comes from Revelation 21:4,
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Each band member’s dream is to be able to share this good news in any avenue with an open door, bringing hope and a bright future to those in need.
